(01)  The statement Balance first

No pedals. No training wheels. Just balance.

A child pushes off, lifts their feet, and glides. Balance is the part that lasts — on a bike, and everywhere else they move. They learn to counter-steer long before they commit to pedals, and most skip training wheels altogether.

Pick a colour. Or don’t.

Colour goes on the wheel — the whole disc painted edge to edge, right out to the black tire. Leave it off and you have Natural: the bike exactly as it comes off the bench, for nothing extra.
